As I look at the world around me, I have a very clear picture in my mind’s eye of how my subject will translate into an interesting photograph. It may be the low angle of the sun causing shadows to extend along the grass, vibrant autumn tree colours mirrored on the still surface of a lake or perhaps a geometric pattern seen not only as a component of the architectural structure of a building but also forming an abstract picture of its own.
This collection of photographs spans 25 years of such observations.
About the Photos
Many of the photos are scanned from negatives or slides. The newer photos are created using various digital cameras although occasionally one of the old SLRs are dusted off and used to shoot some slides or black and white photos.
